What is the status concerning those adapters?
Is the SATA adapters really converting to EIDE?
With the price difference being huge, I'd really like to know.
The spare partsshop from IBM France reports the following prices:
* FRU: 62P4553 Price: EUR 32,10 (with taxes) (EIDE model)
* FRU: 26R9246 Price: EUR 50,23 (with taxes) (SATAmodel)
Add to this, the fact that SATA drives are more expensive....
Of course if you wanna update your internal drive with 7200rpm one and reuse the other one in the adapter you need the SATA one...
Any coments?
