Can the AC adapter be used interchangably?
Thanks.

Incorrect sir. The T60, X60, Z60/Z61's all use interchangeable 60W & 90W adapters. I have an X60s w/60W & T60 w/90W here, both interchanged just fine.PTzero wrote:You can use the T60 90W AC adapter with the X60/s, but not the other way around.
I think it depends on the specific T60 you have. If you have one with all the trimmings, it may require higher than 60W source. Now, the 60W will still plug in, but when you start drawing more than that, you will be risking the longevity of your components. If the battery is plugged in, it may be able to compensate by getting the extra power from that.fbrdphreak wrote:Incorrect sir. The T60, X60, Z60/Z61's all use interchangeable 60W & 90W adapters. Hmm, good point. However I will say that unless you have a T60p 15" UXGA FireGL and run two instances of Prime95 along with that Real Time High Dynamic Range Lighting program, you won't be drawing that much power. While the TDP of the devices may exceed 60W, you will be hard pressed to exceed ittrentblase wrote:I think it depends on the specific T60 you have.
