undocking problem in suspend mode

#1 Post by MIB » Thu Jun 01, 2006 3:07 am

I have a X60s and very happy with it so far, except one problem, I can't undock when the X60 is in suspend mode, if I do that the undocking will be always failed and easy eject will prompt for stopping now forever, I just have to reboot. If I press the Ctrl+F9 then undock is fine, is just me or undocking has to be always like this in X series ?

btw The docking station and X60 is all fine and no latching problems.

Thanks

On all X series laptops, one first needs to undock and then put into standby - otherwise the laptop will 'wake-up'.
In the IBM power manager software package, there is an option undel global settings to put the laptop into standby when pressing the undock button.
