I am using 50 Hz and 32 bit. Is this the optimal for a X60?

I found that you can change to 60 Hz and did change it. However, I can't tell the difference :)

But I left the 60 since it's bigger than 50 and figure that it is better...

I'm not sure how much this matters, but part of the power profile is reducing the refresh rate. This implies that a higher refresh rate uses more power -- how much, I don't know. But since I can't tell the difference between 50 and 60hz, I leave it on 50. Maybe I'd notice the difference if I was doing video stuff.

The other thing to realize is that many lcd screens are only 18 bit, so the overhead of true-color is mostly wasted. Not sure how much power/memory savings you'd get with using only 16 bit, but it's something to think about.

On that note, does anyone know what technolody the non-UL x60s screen uses? Is it able to display true 24 bit color?
