Interesting anomaly in X60s model numbers - please clarify

#1 Post by Antioch » Tue Jun 13, 2006 7:19 am

If you take a look at the follow two model numbers in the TABook you'll see that they have the same specs (so far as I could tell). I'm wondering what the difference is between the two - as I'm interested in purchasing this model...

1705-24U
1702-24U

Upon further scrutiny, I found that the 1702 model comes with a 3-year limited warranty whereas the 1705 comes with a 1-year limited warranty.

Anything else I missed?

No, that's the only difference.
