I have a couple of quirky things with my X60 and I was wondering if anyone else has seen this. First, the volume control does not control the system beep volume. I checked the checkbox saying I want the system beep controlled by the volume control.
Next, when I shut the lid it doesn't always go into standby. Sometimes it just keeps on running, heating the inside of my bag, and running down the battery.
Third, has anyone figured out the eject button on the ultrabay. It appears that if you have anything significant plugged into the ultrabay (I have a USB mouse, keyboard, monitor, and USB skype phone) then it fails to eject because it can't stop something. It never tells you what it is and unplugging devices and repeating it doesn't seem to change anything?
Any thoughts?
Windows XP Pro. I am running the latest everything, bios, all updates, etc.
