DVD burner problems in the UltraBase

I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced any problems with their dual layer DVD burner in the Ultra Base. I tried to backup my drivers/files with the ultrabase DVD burner, but each time i experienced an error. I don't specifically remember if it was a windows error, or a disk error, but either way the burning of the disk was aborted (ruining the disk).

I tried to do this 2 x figuring the first was some fluke. Anyway, the CD burner works fine (i made recovery CD's, and music CD's).

I'll am not positive, but is there any file that windows will not allow to be burned to DVD (as in is there any write protected files)? I will try a third time with just filling a Dual Layer DVD with Music tonight to see if that has anything to do with it. If that doesn't work, i'll send it back in.

Do you only have a problem with dual-layer DVDs or also with regular DVDs?

Does the Burner on the X61T Ultabase (in my signature) come with Single Layer or Dual Layer Burner?

Also, if I wanted to get a Dual Layer burner drive that supports Light scribe that I want to install in the Ultrabase, which ones could I get? What specs do I need to look for..? Some height / other parameter requirements?
