Can the Ultrabase x6 charge batteries?

I've heard from a friend, that the ultrabase x4 can charge batteries on it's own. Can the ultrabase x6 do the same?
The IBM page is a little vague about that. And in the flickr page with ultrabase x6 pics doesn't show the bottom (where apparantly a possibly connector was at the x4 ultrabase)

The only batteries that the ultrabase X6 can charge are those that fit into the ultrabay (where the CD/DVD drive goes), there are no other connections to charge additional batteries.

I checked the X4 ultrabase and it did not have any other battery charging options either - the X3 base had a slot for charging an additional battery though
