X60s recall RUMOR??

hey,
i heard a that is a rumors here in Singapore, IBM is recalled back the X60s model for its defects in heat ??? :shock:

is it true???
any one encouter this problem??
well, i am a X60s user too, just worry about something might go wrong with my unit.

i don't think any thinkpad has been recalled ... ever

A thread title like this scares the hell out of many Thinkpad users. Perhaps this thread should be deleted.

Although the rumour does spread fear, I don't believe it should be deleted.

I say it's orange in colour.

I am from Singapore.

No. Never heard of any recall, though I have had some difficulty with my X60 and X60s. Had both units replaced with new ones earlier this week, after two months of "fighting" with Lenovo.

What was the problem with your laptops, if I may ask you, that made you have them replaced? And how do the news ones work now? When did you buy your original machines?

Looks like they are, so to say, trying to fix an airplane while flying it. :)

yeah, what is the difficulty with your X60 & X60s before???
