Time between order and recieving

question: why does it take that long to get the notebook after ordering it. i ordered it on the 22.8 and it still didn't arrive... i mean its not customer friendly. apple or dell even need less shorter time to ship the notebook... i mean they don't let them grow on plants and wait 2month till its ready for pick them up...
