I installed newest version of Firefox and set homepage in FF and MSIE to
www.google.com and every time I reboot it gets reset to
www.lenovo.com/us/en !
Ran spyware stuff to see if one of Lenovo's processes is listed as something to remove but no dice. Regkey for MSIE reset not present so I don't know what else to do.
Seriously, though, this is totally unacceptable from any software maker in the universe, let alone a Tier 1 OEM!
Arrrrgh. Can't find anything on this forum or online...

OK I just got a call back from my e-mail support request and they told me how to fix it:
Go to start>thinkvantage>access connections>locations>manage profiles>
pick all of them and click "profile action" "edit" "additional settings"
and make sure override homepage is unchecked on all of them.
They suck for having this enabled by default.

Thank You!! That has been driving me crazy! You're right... that's pretty low to even HAVE a setting like that. It's so...Dell.

I searched four or five times for things like "reset homepage" and "browser homepage OR home reset lenovo" and didn't come up with anything, like I said in the post. I promise I looked but I'm sorry for not finding it and posting this. I was searching at the top level of the TP forum directory tree.
I'll try to not to do it again, and thanks for letting me know.

My post was friendly (apologies if you did not see it that way). Thank you for searching. If you searched (thanks again) please *do* post. The most recent post was I found was in February under "IE homepage". Cheers, ... JDH

Also rules number one and two for me in forums when posting a new thread is:
1. Search and be sure so you don't get e-mails from admins
2. Post the thread with
a title that explains what you're talking about or expect no useful information in response.
