Hi all,
Has anyone been using solidworks with the x60 or x60s? I am curious how it performs with the intel gma 950. I am running SW 2006 and 2007. I'm not sure I can live with 1024x768 yet, but have never tried Solidworks at that resolution and will try it tomorrow.
I am currently running on an IBM T30, with a Mobility Radeon 7500 with 16MB ram, which just does not cut it.
Thanks,
Brian

I am running solidworks on my x60s. Of course the 1024x768 screen is not the most ideal situation but as long as you are not using it as your primary solidworks machine you should be okay. When the drawing contains too many parts, the Intel graphic chip clearly struggles. If you are doing majority of your solidworks drawings on your laptop, you should go with the T60 with the radeon graphic card.
