i use the recovery cd(7cds, windows xp home sp2) reinstall, the sound card worked well.
i don't know why the sound card can not be found by system(bios 1.10).

You are right. the problem is resolved.You need 2 things. The Windows XP update modules, which include the UAA HD Audio Driver that Sugo mentioned. You also need the Audio Features Driver. Install the Windows XP update modules before installing the Audio Features Driver. You can get both on the following page. Software and Device Drivers - ThinkPad X60, X60s
I do see one potential problem. If you are using a non-US version of Windows, the Windows XP update modules listed on that page are probably the wrong ones. You need to look for the Software and Device Drivers page for the language version you are using.
