Strange problom: X60 Audio Card Can't Find in WinXP SP2

I have a thinkpad X60 1706-BA1, when i reinstall windows pro xp2 retail version, no sound card found, i try flash the bios with version 1.06,1.09,1.10,1.11,problem is same. but sometimes ago i install winxp pro sp2 success.
i use the recovery cd(7cds, windows xp home sp2) reinstall, the sound card worked well.
i don't know why the sound card can not be found by system(bios 1.10).

You need the HD Audio driver.

In my computer's device manager, can't find audio device, when i run the audio driver setup, it message me "driver not found".
it seems not found the audio hardware

You need 2 things. The Windows XP update modules, which include the UAA HD Audio Driver that Sugo mentioned. You also need the Audio Features Driver. Install the Windows XP update modules before installing the Audio Features Driver. You can get both on the following page.

I do see one potential problem. If you are using a non-US version of Windows, the Windows XP update modules listed on that page are probably the wrong ones. You need to look for the Software and Device Drivers page for the language version you are using.

You are right. the problem is resolved.
i first install The Windows XP update modules, then install audio driver, now it works well.
