Bluetooth: grab OK, retrieve KO

Hi everyone,

i don't know if it is thinkpad conf (s/w or h/w), everytime i try to send file to thinkpad from handphone(nokia N80), is said sending failed.

but when i grab the file thru thinkpad, no problem, have anybody face the same problem or maybe i didnt know how to send it? thanks

p/s; btw i'm using latest version bluetooth 5.0.1.3200 (X60s)

yeah, same symtom here.
what's happening?
1. T43 2668-B97 14" SXGA+ 1.5G RAM 9cells
2. X60s 1703-CA3 powerful

i can receive file from x60s to the handphone but when i want to send file from handphone to x60s, it says sending failed? anyone get solution? thanks.

dont wan to sound ..... but if you use windows' bt do you give first "recieve file" when you click the bt tray icon?

it never worked for me with "turn discovery on"

any firewalls?!

lastly I found how to enable file send from other device to this X60

right click and then click properties

then change the value as in red circle

lastly don't forget to restart your bluetooth device

i prefered to use the windows version of software for bluetooth. what;s the name of that driver(software) you use?

i had used the one you use now, about 3 years ago, but it was impossible to make gprs sessions with it. dont know how it is now, hopefully SE if more friendly.
