I just spoke with IBM/Lenovo support technician and he told me the Core 2 Duo it is NOT compatibe with Windows XP Professional x64 ?, is that true ?, I understood Core 2 Duo is x64, any comments, thanksdfumento wrote:I have heard of Win XP Pro 64 working on a Compaq laptop so you will get the basic Windows functionality and since there is a 32 bit mode within 64 bit you will get most of the ThinkVantage working as well.
I am currently looking for the Verizon EVDO built-in WWAN 64-bit driver, but I think the remainder should basically work.
I wonder if he meant it is not supported by IBM/Lenovo?brosen wrote: I just spoke with IBM/Lenovo support technician and he told me the Core 2 Duo it is NOT compatibe with Windows XP Professional x64 ?, is that true ?, I understood Core 2 Duo is x64, any comments, thanks
