When does the Bluetooth LED illuminate?

#1 Post by Trolle » Tue Nov 14, 2006 1:49 pm

My X60 is about 2 months old now and everything is great about the machine, besides the poor Intel wireless performance. Still debating whether to purchase an Atheros card.

I have still not had an opportunity to test the Bluetooth since I don't have any Bluetooth devices, but just wanted to activate the Bluetooth feature and make sure it worked fine but the LED does not illuminate below the screen (last time I activated the Bluetooth my wireless turned off and required reinstallation).

Is that normal?

Access Connections shows that it is powered on, but the LED is still dark.

Thanks.

My Bluetooth indicator didn't light until I turned on the radio with the Fn-F5 control panel. Then I had to install the software to get things working.

Thanks. I turned it on and it didn't illuminate, that's why I posted the question.

I did activate the Bluetooth earlier but that then forced the Intel wireless to malfunction. Guess I'll just have to try again.
