I'm thinking of buying an external LCD monitor. I've seen some discussion of whether the X60/s can support specific external resolutions (1680x1050, 1920x1200) but no list of what resolutions are and are not supported. The IBM specification webpage for the X60 gives a list, but that is clearly incomplete because it doesn't mention certain of the resolutions that people have reported as working on this forum (and were also mentioned in BIOS update release notes).
So, anybody know a complete list?
Or, how do I ask my hardware to tell me? The monitor properties dialog for the external monitor port offers a whole bunch of resolutions, but not, for example the 1680x1050 which has been reported to work....
Thanks in advance.
