I am about to adquire an X60 but the only thing that i didn't like about it is that it doesn't come with built in bluetooth.

The question is, Can it be added? I did it in my T40 but i have never heard of someone that had success or actualy did the bluetooth upgrade to a X60 model.

Machine type number is: 1703-3JU

It is possible, but void your warranty.

You must replace the display cable, because the BT module sitting on it. You have to order display cable, bt module, clear plate.

Buy an external BT module!
Cellink BTA 5020 is so thin (without house) that you can store it in the pcmcia slot...

But i will check on the Cellink BTA 5020 for my 770Z.

At least is have built in bluetooth.
