No resources to close api

When on AC my X60s often comes out of standby accidently(lid closed). When I open the lid I can see a Windows popup 'Not enough system resources to close API. What is going on? Never had this on any other of my notebooks.
Furthermore after an incident like that hibernation mode is deactivated automatically.

check, seen that too.
X60, 2gig RAM, 100GB drive. occasionally doesnt suspend. Bu when checking system resources, memory seems to be within normal use and cant see anything that causes this.

2GB ram, too much memory resources.
System doesn't know how to manage a big resources like this, therefore, error might come out

That's not it. I used to see on my old (and not fondly remembered!) Dell Latitude C400 with 512 MB as well.
I believe it's a misbehaving driver that causes this. I do see it from time to time as well on my X31, but probably only once every few months or so, so less than 1% of the time.

Have you tried this update from Microsoft:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909095 ? I had never been able to hibernate on any of my thinkpads, but this update fixed the problem for me.
