I got the X6 base but can not find where to order this drive. I can't even find it a Lenovo. Does anyone have a URL where I can order it?

ThinkPad Multi-Burner Plus Ultrabay Slim Drive

EDIT: Oops, I don't think that is exactly the drive you were looking for. I'll look a little more.

My VP refuses to get out of his X41. Bought the X60 tablet 6366-8KU for nothing as I love my T43p too much to leave it.

Will put on the "MArket Place" in a few minutes, ebay if it does not sell there

What about a small (ie. travel size) self contained DVD-RW USB2 burner for an X60s. Is the Lenovo the one to get, or are there cheaper alternatives?

Cheaper alternatives. Search this forum under my name and you'll see a couple of relevant threads. You can pick up a nice Sony for about $120 or you can build your own with a drive and enclosure for about the same price which is what I did.

Was going to get this one for $179 CDN but I settled on a Pioneer version that was the same size but with a metal case for $99 CDN.

Curious how you can get it for $179 CDN when on the Lenovo website it is US$299?
