x60 with SXGA+ ? What is that going to be like?

I'm holding off buying an X60 mainly in order to be able to get the X60s with Core2Duo and perhaps also if they decide to give the X series the SXGA+ screen like the X60T has. Anyone know if it becomes too small or if it's an improvement?
Thanks

I answered this question in
this thread. Let me copy-and-paste it here:
I was looking up DPI values when responding to another thread, and found these:
12.1" XGA (i.e. regular X series): 105.8 DPI
12.1" SXGA+ (i.e. X60 tablet hi res option): 144.6 DPI
To get a sense a of how dense that is, the smallest text I have seen on a laptop screen is the 147.0 DPI of my 15.4" WUXGA Dell Inspiron 6000, and it's not easy to see such small text. The SXGA+ X60 tablet will be barely better. Many people on this forum have complained about the small text on a 15" UXGA screen (133.3 DPI), which is already much bigger than what one will get on the X60 tablet's SXGA+ screen.

I don't mind small text at all. I once owned a WUXGA HP ZT3000, and I just loved the resolution. The text size is a good reason for not wanting one, but there are plenty of us who would sell our XGA X60's in a heartbeat for one with SXGA+.

I have a screen with 220 DPI and i love it to death.
Dont blame it on the Hardware/Screen if the [censored] OS you use can't scale up the fonts and UI in general.

Keep in mind Vista will allow you to scale fonts properly in the OS, without distorting everything else.
