US-bought X60s Work With French-bought Monitor?

I'm going to be going to Europe this summer, will bring my X60s, want to have an external monitor to work in the apartment we'll rent.

If I buy a cheapish 19" LCD monitor in Paris, should my X60s be able to drive it without trouble? I know TV standards are different, NTSC vs PAL, but are computer monitor standards the same worldwide?

Yep, VGA and DVI are identical worldwide so you will be fine.
