I love my X60s but would like to have a better resolution. Does anyone know ifLenovo plans a 1280 or 1400 screen? A DVI output would be nice too. When will Vista be available built in?
Thanks
Stephan

The SXGA+ screen is available on the X60 tablet, but there seems to be no indication that that screen resolution will be available on non-tablet versions.

You must have amazing eye sight cuz SXGA or SXGA+ on a 12.1" LCD is horribly small.

SXGA was available for the X60T. It seems that Lenovo has some suppliement problems because they took the SXGA Option off their website.
But there exists a video review with the X60T Lenovo Product Manager which introduces the SXGA display so it does exist somewhere but is not yet ready for the mass market

SXGA+ on 12.1" = 144.6 DPI
WUXGA on 15.4" = 147.0 DPI
My Dell Inspiron 6000 has the latter and it's really not too bad (and my eyesight isn't that good either), but I do need to be closer to the screen, and my eyes do get tired more easily. SXGA+ on 12.1" would give slightly bigger images.

you cant even get an SXGA+ on the x60t, what makes you think you will on the x60?
some people ordered a full 8 weeks ago, and NO sign of anything shipping. I ordered 7 weeks ago myself.
at this point i wont be recommending lenovo to ANYONE, even if I do get my machine.

I am totally with you, as long as you mean
ordering from Lenovo.com. I have been recommending people to get Thinkpads from other sources, such as this forum, Costcentral, Euclidcomputers, and eBay.
