X60T and Vista

#1 Post by ullogu1 » Mon Jan 29, 2007 7:46 pm

I'd like to buy an X60T, but wondering whether I should wait for it to be shipped with Vista. Anyone know anything about Vista and the X60T tablet?

thanks in advance

Vista is shipping now on the X60 tablet. Oddly enough, it's $20 cheaper to use Vista over Windows XP.
All the best,

Hmm, I wonder if it is cheaper so that they don't have people use the "upgrade" thing afterwards, thereby saving them money. I think it costs $10 due to shipping to get vista through the upgrade program. Does anyone know if you get the upgrade through vista then you can't use WinXP Tablet anymore?

you may make a XP recovery disk first.. then you can restore XP anytime.
