I will be travelling to Manhattan next weekend and was wondering if anyone knows of any stores carrying the X60 notebooks or tablets?
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if it's a store or just a display; I'd think it must be a store too...

Hello,
The store is RCS Experience.
www.rcsexperience.com
I stopped in there last night and they do have almost all the thinkpad models on display. Including the X60, X60s, etc etc
Hope you find this information before too late.

Thanks for the tip! Next time I'm in NYC, I should check it out. I have owned an X60s, am using a T60, and have played with my boss's T60p, but have yet to experience the R and Z series, the X60 tablet, the widescreen T60, and the Lenovo 3000 series.

If I remember correctly they had all or most of those models on display. Well worth the trip. It's hard to see that selection anywhere.
I'm a 600x die hard. But I'm currently looking to move into a faster, smaller, portable X series machine. Eventually I'd like to get a Z61p WUXGA thinkpad. I'd love an x60s, but don't want to break the back quite yet as I'll save it for the Z61p. I may settle for a used X31 or X32. I also want to install Windows Media Center 2005 on my new machine. Has anyone tried this??

But if you are used to the 600X's 1024x768 on a 13.3" screen, you may find things way too small on a 15.4" screen with 1920x1200.

Yes, my Dell Inspiron 6000 (WUXGA) came with Media Center 2005 but I played with it for only several minutes before replacing it with Win XP Pro, so I don't remember anything about it!

Went to RCE and bought a X60t with Vista business installed. It was the last Multitouch available (sorry)
They seem though to be getting shipments regularly.
