Interesting CPU Clock Speed for L2400

#1 Post by gunston » Tue Feb 20, 2007 8:42 pm

CPU speed is set to "Lowest" in the IBM Power Manager while using Battery.
Interestingly, the lowest throttled speed is 730Mhz.
Pls have a look on the links below.

The value in System Properties is (often) bogus. Use something like CPU-Z if you want to check the current clockspeed.

boon - my X60s is idling at 46C locked at lowest speed (in a warm room with no aircon).

I have mine set to maximum performance while on AC power and system properties still shows a processor speed a little more than 900 mhz. Shouldn't I see 1.6? :(
