Do X60 series still use CDCs?

I know previous X series models (X30, X31, X32, X40, X41) used Communications Daughter Cards (CDCs) for analogue modem and Bluetooth functionality, but it's not clear to me if they are still doing this in the X series. I haven't been able to find any concrete details on where the modem or bluetooth functionality is located in the laptop. If they do, maybe it's possible to upgraded a non-BT X60 series to add Bluetooth.

Anyone know?

X60/s units, like their T60/p cousins, use telephone modem cards which look identical to what you describe. However, the Bluetooth functionality is not on those card. The Bluetooth cards reside at the bottom left of the LCD enclosures, just to the right of the left hinge, and connect to the LCD cables, which must be of the type that have the connector to accommodate the Bluetooth cards.

Therefore, if the machine does not have a Bluetooth card, in order to add the Bluetooth card you will need to open the LCD panel and perhaps change the LCD cable. There is no separate discrete antenna that needs to be added.
