Battery question
Battery question
If the computer is running connected to the power socket is it safe to just plug out the battery pack like that or do i have to shut down the pc first??

Dear forummer,
I do that all the time. I always pull out my battery from the thinkpad after plugging into the AC power supply for the entire 2 years and nothing is wrong with my battery yet...
When you pull out the battery while running thinkpad on AC power, pull out the battery fast, DO NOT pull out the battery taking your own sweet time. Acking will take place and damage the battery and the battery internal components in your thinkpad.
