I have tried win2003 r2 enterprise on this x60s yes all the drivers do work. However when i use windows media player 10 to stream live video the sound drivers don't really work well. it sounds really really bad like screetching. other than that the sound works really well for everything else. BTW if you manage to find the answer to the screetching please tell me.

Run dxdiag and make sure sound & video acceleration is enabled. Also check for video acceleration under Display Properties somewhere. I'm pretty sure these aren't enabled by default on the 'enterprise' edition.

Trust me I know what i am doing. i have another w2k3 system that is running fine but its on a desktop, I stream video and play games on it its a ok. This is the fourth w2k3 system i am installing used it previously on my old lappie and desktop. The only possiblity that i think it may be caused is because it is an R2 server. the other one is a normal w2k3 server. still i was pretty suprised it didn't work because it was an onboard sound driver
