x60 tablet vista acs + screen rotation questions

Have upgraded my new x60 tablet to vista enterprise and I am having two potentially related problems. One, after reboot and then a sleep/wake from sleep, acs.exe crashes and closes. Things work fine, but I also haven't been able to install the 'vista approved' access connections package. I get a 'platform not supported' error when I try to launch it, even though I'm installing it through system update.

Two, when the x60t wakes from sleep, the screen rotates 90 degrees counter clockwise, waits a second and then realigns by rotating 90 degrees clockwise again. I have the auto orientation disabled in the options, but the laptop wants to still rotate. Its annoying because it delays me getting to work just waking it from sleep.

Ideas on either issue appreciated.

I'd go for the manual installation to get Access Connections working...

Start with this:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-67228

Then install this:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... IGR-4GXPEG

Then install this:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-67047

Finally, install this:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-67283

I imagine there will be some restarting in between, but maybe Vista is better on that count than previous Windows versions.
