Will x60 work on x30 accessories?

Specifically will the x60 work with the x31 extended battery or mini-dock?

That's really a shame since the only available port replicator option for the x60 is the ultrabase. One of the great things before lenovo took over was the diversity with the port replicator docking systems where you could use the same dock for several different models.
Does anyone know if there are future plans to release newer docking systems or will x60 users be stuck using the ultrabase?
