Core Duo and VMWare?

Just wondering if having a Core Duo such as in the X60s would make any difference running virtual machines. Can you assign a core to the virtual machine? That would be really cool.

I think you can do that on any dual core machine. The only difference is that the x60s supports VT.

You can assign vmware to use a particular core only, but that core will still be used by your host OS as well. There is no way of telling your host OS not to use the core.
