I had three t60's including a t60p and the screens are horrible.
I want a x60 but I'm scared of getting a bad screen. I am using a t30 at work and that screen is 100x better.
One example is if you open up IE on a t60 and look towards the upper right corner and look at the supposedly white background. I see pink and purple squarish boxes everywhere where it's suppose to be white and the viewing angles are horrible.
I'm wanting to buy a x60s and wondered if this is an issue with the x60 series also. I'm thinking lenovo did this to cut the costs.
If that's the case, I'm going to get a x41 which is the last IBM made laptops available from what I've read. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks in Advance
How are x60 screens?

I owned many X-series Thinkpads, including an X60s, in the past and if I remember correctly, my current T60's 14.1" SXGA+ screen looks nicer than all of those, probably because of its higher DPI: 124.1 for the T60 vs. 105.8 for the X60s. The T60 display looks crisper.
I don't see this problem on my T60. Do you have a widescreen T60?codek wrote:I see pink and purple squarish boxes everywhere where it's suppose to be white
