Question about Vista Firewall and Norton Internet Security 2

Slight issue I have noticed.

I am currently using the pre-installed version of Norton Internet Security 2007 which is a 60 day trial before I much purchase. When I enable the Norton to be the primary firewall, anytime I restart the system, the Vista Firewall automatically is the default firewall again.
Is this because Im only using a trial version of Norton Internet Security? Do I have to make the purchase before this will be resoloved?

I uncheck the box to make norton default again, but the same issue occurs after each reboot. - Vista becaomes the default no matter how many times i uncheck it for the default.

Also, does anyone suggest anything besides Norton for firewall/antivirus?

thanks much.

I don't know.

I know this: I use Symantec Client Security (paid) on XP and it for sure replaces the Windows Firewall. I put Norton Intenet Security 2007 (paid) on XP and it for sure replaced the Windows Firewall.

So your issue appears to be one of: trial software; Vista; improper install.
