Dock connector on X60 and T60 the same ?

Is the dock connector of those the same? If so, I could put my X60 on an advanced dock or mini dock?

It used to be no problem up until the X4*, then it wasn't possible. The socket may well be the same, they certainly look the same. The problem comes when you try to dock; the locating pins on the dockings which hold the ThinkPad in place, (there are locating holes in the bottom), are in different locations. A possible reason for this is that the contacts have different functions.
I personally wouldn't try it.

Update? Has anyone tried hacking any stationary dock to work with an X60? At least compared the pin layouts of the two docking ports? Or know of anyone who has made an adaptor to use the X60 in a stationary dock?

Lenovo sells an X60 dock - it just isn't the same one as the T60.
