Its that time again... x60 refresh

#1 Post by sheynk » Fri Apr 06, 2007 4:10 am

With the t60 refresh on the verge and the Santa Rosa announcement on the horizon....when do you think Lenovo will update the x60 with Santa Rosa and Intel GMA (whatever the next one is). Maybe PCI-E?

Any input on this is great...might have to sell of the 60 to be on the bleeding edge

In my observation, Lenovo seem to be pretty conservative when it comes to rolling out the latest and greatest from Intel.

It took them a good month or two (if not more, can't remember) after Intel's release announcement, before listing Core 2 Duo based ThinkPads for sale on their web sites.
MacBook Pro Retina 13.3 2560x1600 | i5-4258U | 8GB | 256GB SSD | BT+abgnac
Surface Pro 3 12.0 2160x1440 | i5-4300U | 8GB | 256GB SSD | BT+abgnac

It will be interested to see how the time-line falls in place--for those of us looking to pick up a santa-rosa based xseries lappy in time for the Fall semester, (end of August - early Sept). Lenovo-insiders' comments welcome ; ]
