Hi~

I just won a X60 on eBay and wanted to ask experts advice before I make the final payment.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... &rd=1&rd=1

I called the seller and told me the model number is 1709-7HU...

Any advice will help...

Best,
Jack

The 1709-7HU model is supposed to have the following:

T2400(1.83GHz), 512MB RAM, 60GB 5400rpm HD, 12.1in 1024x768 LCD, Intel 950, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth/Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, Secure chip, IEEE 1394, X6 UltraBase + CDRW/DVD, Fingerprint reader, 8c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro

Not sure why his description indicates "1.66GHz", probably just a typo. The seller has sold lots of tech items and the final price is reasonable, so there is nothing fishy about this auction.

To get a better idea of his neutral/negative feedback, go here:

Otherwise, as pianowizard has said, the only thing that appears to be wrong about the auction description is the CPU speed.
