Loose screens on X60s?

#1 Post by DavidNY » Sun Apr 15, 2007 9:24 pm

I'm seeing reports of loose screens on the X60s, is this a normal thing or an anomaly?

I think you mean the top of the lcd and plastic is loose right. Yeah the dammn bugs me too makes my lappie feel fragile instead of solid. Too bad nothing can be done about it.

When will this nonsense about loose tops end? This is the second or third thread I have read where this urban legend is retold. If there is something loose in your LCD cover then have it fixed -- tighten a couple of screws and/or add a couple of shims. What do you mean that nothing can be done about it?

Its part of the plastic between the frame and the cover. There doesnt seem to be any screws to tighten it. btw i checked a friend's x60s and it has the same problem.
