X60 Tablet questions

#1 Post by dalto » Tue Apr 17, 2007 6:25 pm

Hi,

I love my new X60 tablet but I do have a couple of questions in regards to the tablet and rotation.

Is it possible to turn off the tablets auto-rotation feature? It seems to often do the wrong thing for me the way I use my tablet.

Also, I use dual displays and leave my tablet face up all the time so whenever I need to annotate something I can just start writing on my tablet. The problem I have is that whenever I log in or unlock my tablet it defaults back to portrait orientation and I have to change it. Is there a way to change the default orientation? I am running Vista.

Thanks for the help!

click on the button on the side next to the rotate screen button to bring up the menu. go into "Settings" on the bottom.
from there you can uncheck "Enable ActiveRotate" and "Upon switching to tablet mode, automatically set screen orientation"
