AC/DC adaptor for X60 tablet?

I've had my X60 Tablet for a couple of months and battery life (8 cells) is ok but I would like to be even more mobile.

So my question is:
Does the AC/DC 90watt slimline adaptor (US part number 40Y7630) fit the 20volt Tablet power input and can it run off the standard 12volt car power?

The power pack supplied with my tablet is rated at 65watts 20 volts and the power socket on the machine clearly states 20volts.

(I've tried searching the Lenovo websites and called the local sales and technical people in Australia but the Tech guy in the call centre said they haven't even seen the X60Tablet yet so didn't realise what I was asking about! The websites showing the adaptor refer to compatibility with X60 series but don't mention the Tablet. They also detail the input power but don't make any mention of output)

MORE Watts (Power) is OK. More voltage is NOT OK. So the adapter should work as long as it fits and is the same polarity on the TIP/ plug.

I do not have the answer to whether it fits or not.

FOr anyone wondering, LESS power is NOT OK as the device will NEED to draw a minimum amount of power. More is OK because it just won't use what it doesn't need. The voltage has to be the same or very close, within 5% though to be safe.

The tabook lists "ThinkPad 90W AC/DC Combo Adapter 40Y7630 ann 12/13/05" as an accessory for the X60T; I wouldn't worry too much about ordering it. If there's a problem just contact lenovo, point to the tabook, and complain. If they officially sanction it as an accessory then you're free and clear.
