x61t arrival date

#1 Post by codek » Fri Apr 20, 2007 3:02 pm

I'm looking into buying an x61t because the x41t is too slow... although very nice because of its size. I was going to get an x60 but have heard that the x61t's are coming out soon.

Do you guys know when is it going to arrive? and what features are we looking for?

Thanks in advance.

X41t: 274mm x 266mm x 29-32mm
X60t: 274mm x 267mm x 27.4-33.1mm

I would say that they are essentially of identical size.

Tablet models traditionally come out later than the non-tablets, and even the standard X61 models are not here yet. I would say that the best-case scenario would be late summer or early fall availability for an X61t.

The X60 tablet is about 0.3 lbs heavier than the X41 tablet, partly if not mainly due to the former's 2.5" HDD.
