x60s / Atheros upgrade / no Wifi LED and Switch

#1 Post by cpm » Sun Apr 22, 2007 1:55 pm

Hi,

I run a X60s (1702-55G, BIOS 2.09) with Debian Etch (2.6.19 custom made). After I change the wifi adapter (Intel 3945ABG) to an Atheros card (FRU P/N: 39T5578 Model: 40Y7026) my wifi-LED and the wifi-switch doesn't work any more. The new card seem to be always on, so how can I bring my switch and the LED back to life?

Thanks for any help.

Had that problem and unfortunately... had to do factory restore.

Since then, it works pretty well.

TP X60 +UBX6 +dvdrw slim + floppy + 8cells battery

In the first post there is the operating system: Debian Edgy.

I had the same problem.
You have to go to the bios and make a factory reset...
