When X60 tablet with Santa Rosa platform?
It is already released, but only to customers who have bought more than 10 laptops directly from IBM/Lenovo.

Is it true that it's been released but only to larger buyers? If that's the case do you have any idea for when it will be open to us to buy it as well?

How did you know about it? Does that mean it should be very soon, like even next week, when they talk about an announcement by Lenovo about Santa Rosa units?

I read that someone was speaking with Lenovo sales and was told that the Santa Rosa x61 may be released for ordering on May 8th. They wouldn't ship for 4 weeks however.

Anyone else in contact with Lenovo sales about this lately?

This is very cool. I've been waiting to place my order, and with all the complaints about the slowness with Vista, this change to Santa Rosa should really help keep it working better from the start and also for some years to come.

Let me know if you hear any more about the launch date! merci!

No problem, financial events made me delay my order, I'm glad I have to wait ! Vista, 2 or 4 GB RAM, and a SSD when my cash flow flows again :)

With student prices, I think we can expect this laptop around €1,500 in Europe. (Yes, still pricey in dollars!).
