The Sound worked fine, i watched a movie on it and everything was fine. Than i watched another on with headphones on. But now i can only hear sound with the headphones plugged in, i see at the equalizer that it playes sound but i cant hear anything (Sound is on full power and mute is off) if i plug in the headphones i get sound over the headphones.....

any idea ? i allready tried to disable sound and enable it again.

any ideas ?

You may have a problem with your headphone jack. The contacts may not be completing the circuit to the speaker when you disconnect the headphones. Maybe some debris got shoved in there when you connected your headphones. Do you have the Ultrabase? That has a second set of jacks on it. The manual says to use the jacks on the Ultrabase when the X60 is docked.

I didn't notice if you said whether you were using the analog plug jack or a USB plug for the headphones.

With the Lenovo sennheiser usb headset, I have to plug-in the usb jack before opening the program, such as WinDVD. After unplugging the usb headphone jack, I have to close and then restart WinDVD to be able to hear the sound through the internal speaker or through external speakers plugged into the analog jacks.

Software switching is not as reliable as the old analog, manually disconnect, jack.

If you have additional sound software installed for a web cam, etc, then a conflict may also exist there.
