Question: Is built-in Verizon WWAN EVDO Rev A?

#1 Post by SFWrtr » Wed May 23, 2007 10:02 pm

I've searched and searched both Lenovo and the web. Does anybody know whether the built-in express card offered by Lenovo for the X60 tablet is EVDO Rev A or the older Rev 0?

I have read that the VZ Access Manager software can tell you if the card is Rev A or not. Not sure where, but if you have it and can check...

My guess is that it is the same WWAN as the previous models.....Rev. 0. I am probably going to deactivate my internal WWAN on t60p and go buy the express card 740 model to get rev. a

Does anybody has a pic of a built in Ev-Do card? My T60 should have ev-do, but there is no pci express card. Are there any built in cards and how can I see if i get this one?

Thanks

This information can be found in the hardware manual for your computer. It is in an internal express slot.

I typed the following into the Lenovo search box:
"x60 tablet" hardware manual

And I got:

This should answer your question and you get to know the secret of finding all that you can know on the Lenovo site!

This page shows how to get to the express cards and how to change them out. It may help.
