Vista Switch user Loops

The X60 tablet PC that I got earlier this month exhibits the following problem when one does a "Switch user':

Appears to loop and then hangs up to the point that a hard power off is required. If I act fast enough to get the task manager performance display, I see that the Kernel memory, Nonpaged memory, increases from a nominal 50MB to 1000+MB. If TP4SERV.EXE is terminated prior to switch user, there is no problem other than the reduced trackpoint function. Warrantee service had me reinstall the trackpoint driver, also reload the system from a set of DVDs they provided. Same result every time. They now have provided a shipping container to return for service.
The system had all of the latest automatic updates from Lenovo and Microsoft including the latest Core 2 Duo BIOS update.

Simplest test after a reload was to activate the Guest account and then switch user to Guest, loops until it dies.

I would be very interested to know if anyone with the similar machine is actually using Switch user without problems before I actually send the machine back for repair.

Significant configuration: 6365-CTO, Vista business, Touch Screen Tablet, Fingerprint reader, Core 2 Duo L7400,2GB, Intel Wireless, Bluetooth.

Since I had no replies on this entry I sent the X60 to the repair center, "Wrong choice!"

After four weeks two days, two motherboard replacements, 18 phone calls I had the problem
escalated to Lenovo as a CMT issue.

This resulted in the machine being packaged and sent to the engineers in Raleigh.

After one week three days, another motherboard replacement, 9 phone calls I requested that the machine be replaced.

After one week, 5 phone calls replacement authorized and identified as 7767-96U which I said was acceptable (drops Multitouch but adds DVD Write and 3Yr Maint.).

After two weeks three days, several phone calls and several e-Mails the X61 was delivered unexpectedly a week earlier than the expected date.

Unboxed, went through the minimal setup. Activated "Guest". Switched user. SAME PROBLEM. I mentioned this to the Lenovo representative handling my CMT but have not pursued it further.

I noticed the same thing last night.

My girlfriend said she wanted a user account on my computer, so I create one, then switch user to set things up. We both fell asleep while waiting for the computer to regain responsiveness. I woke up maybe an hour or so later, and was able to log out of her account. Things cleared up after that.

It seemed like the memory usage was quite high, but maybe that's new to Vista.
