Just to double check, is this memory compatable with my x60 tablet?

I'm currently using that in my X60 (non-tablet).

I'm pretty sure Corsair's would work.

Even if it is compatible that doesn't mean it will work properly. I've tried two brands of RAM (Transcend and Crucial) in my X60s and both failed to get along with the existing RAM. This is apparently because some motherboards are very sensitive to difference in RAM with DDR2, even when the RAM works fine on its own. The three 1-GB SODIMMS I've tried (the above two plus the original) cause no problems on their own, but any pairing of them causes random freezes (after a few minutes or a few hours). This is a frustrating problem that tends not to show up on memory tests, though PC Doctor's RAM stress test can sometimes force it to happen.

So be warned that you could experience random freezing after you put the new RAM in, and that doesn't mean the memory is defective, as such. There are a few threads on this board about the issue.

Why not play it safe and get it from Crucial.com? They guarantee compatibility with your laptop, and not much more expensive, 1GB for only $44.

Maybe I should've been more descriptive: I'm using a pair of these sticks in my notebook. I know better than not to mix RAMs around and still expect them to work; that's why I gotten a pair of these.

So if you are intending to mix, nobody can guarantee compatability issues. But if you are intending to use Corsair's on X60, you can more or less rest assured it will work (on its own).
