mouse making clicking noises

When i press on the left mouse button on the x60s it makes a clicking noise... Is there any way to get this fixed other than calling lenovo?

no it's coming from the mouse button

Uh, isn't that what we call by "clicking a mouse button"?

What kind of problem are you actually facing? Is the mouse not working?

it works, but it makes a loud noise when i click on it

Could you describe the noise? Maybe there's just something stuck beneath the key? (you could disamble the palm rest)

OK I only ask because there is a windows CLICK sound when you click certain things. Of course muting the speaker will determine that.

My trackpoint buttons don't make a sound.
