Smallest X60/61 Tablet case? (PICS)

Hi everybody,
I'm looking for the absolute smallest case of the Tablet. I would really love it if I can just strap a strap to the x61t itself (but then that wouldn't protect the laptop at all). Do you guys know of a really really small case with a strap for the x series tablet? Thanks!

I just bought this one for the X61T I just purchased.
I have the X41T Tablet Case and its not worth a penny. You have to take the computer out of the case to use they keyboard.

Wow that is one expensive case. Although it is really cool. I am looking for something that is very simple and small. I really like how that case has a handle like a briefcase. Anybody know of anything else?

are you looking for something like a sleeve with a shoulder strap?

I highly recommend Waterfield designs at
http://www.sfbags.com. Check out the SleeveCase, which can be ordered to fit your x6x exactly, horizontal or vertical orientation, with or without a flap, with or without a shoulder strap, and with or without a little piggyback bag for your power supply and cords. They are minimalist.
I have one, and they are of the highest quality. My wife's Cozmo bag shows almost no signs of wear after more than two years of daily use.
And best of all they are made in the USA.

Normally with every laptop I've ever owned, I don't use them IN the case. This is no different. WHen I want to use it as a laptop as I am at this moment, I take it out of the case.
That being said the other case looks real interesting and I'd love to check it out hands on. It never occurred to me to have a laptop IN a case all the time.
If this had a handle like the sleeve I could just use it without the sleeve. In that case I'd just get a screen protector and take it completely out of the case every use.

When you are carrying around your X60T in the Tablet Case do you leave it tablet mode? I was kind of reluctant to have the screen exposed at all times, even with that plastic sheet....I have never tried putting the computer in closed (normally) into the sleeve but I think it should work since your just rotating the screen closed.

When I was shopping around for a case a few weeks ago, the specific Sleevecase for the X60 Tablet only came in the vertical orientation. The other X60 Sleevecases come in both horizontal or vertical, though.

I leave it in the tablet sleeve in tablet mode all the time. I currently take that entire sleeve and place it into the printer side of my A31 Targus Air case, and have the screen facing the center of that case toward the bottom of the A31 (air pad in between). On the other side there is a place for papers, etc I have some bubble wrap that just happened to fit perfectly. I wanted to use Storm case, which is similar to Pelican, but the wheeled, carry on size is actually too small for the tablet. Who would have thought? I could barely fit it in there if it wasn't in the sleeve, but that would be kind of a hassle. I guess my regular laptop case has been over sized all this time at least in 1 dimension. If I didn't have the 8 cell it still wouldn't fit in the sleeve, but would fit OK without the sleeve.
I found these pictures of a really beat up version of my bag.

I am thinking that I will also be taking it in and out when in use. So I guess what I'm looking for is a really nice thin sleeve that I can slip the X61T in and out of. This one looks very small and neat but I don't know how hard it would be to slip it in and out:

Both orientations are showing available now on their web site, in both sizes (standard or extended battery).

So I ended up getting this SUMDEX ImpactGuard sleeve because of the great reviews and SensaTech(tm) ImpactGuard(tm).

Hmm... it still only shows one orientation for me for the X60t with 8-cell battery. My memory is worse than I thought, though, because its the horizontal orientation that they make, and in the column for vertical orientation it says "no." (not the other way around, as I said earlier).
http://www.sfbags.com/products/sleeveca ... ng/ibm.htm
I'm using a vertical orientation Sleevecase made for some T4x model, because I wanted vertical orientation for use in my backpack. The Sleevecase is a tiny bit longer than it needs to be, but that's fine... I bought it from my college bookstore and saved a few bucks on shipping.
My other bag/sleeve is the
REI E-wrap.
http://www.rei.com/product/733787
Other than Waterfield Sleevecases, its the smallest snug sleeve/case with handles and shoulder-strap option I've found that holds the X60t with 8-cell (which is almost square shaped, so a bit unique when it comes to finding a laptop case). It fits with only a centimeter or two to extra in one dimension, but the whole E-wrap "wraps" around the tablet snugly (i.e. makes contact on a lot of surface area) so I don't mind at all.
Someone elses review on the REI E-wrap for his laptop

I'm not sure who sells them new, but something that looks similar comes with the Thinkpad USB Travel Keyboard.
